Thinking about an internship? Many of you will complete an internship while pursuing your degree at Georgia State University, either with an organization locally, nationally, or abroad. In addition to the educational, networking, and professional opportunities that internships offer, employers tell us that they like to see internship experiences on applicants’ resumes.

As a global studies major, you can take an internship for college credit. Our program offers a GLOS 4910 Internship course for 3 credits [hyperlink to course catalog] allowing you to get course credit for these professional experiences. In addition to internship duties, you meet with the course instructor weekly over the course of the semester to dissect and discuss your internship experiences and the impact of these organizations on local and global events.
